Version 2.4 of XModelerML has been released on March 28, 2025 and is available for download from the LE4MM-Portal (https://www.wi-inf.uni-due.de/LE4MM/xmodelerml/).

The new version significantly expands the tool's range of functions. XModeler^ML and UML-MX are now available under a common interface. Users can choose between UML++ and FMML^x at runtime. In addition, class hierarchies can now be conveniently changed by removing or inserting classes. Finally, models can now optionally be saved in a database, making it much easier to search for models that have certain properties.
