Tools

For a number of reasons, the development and maintenance of complex conceptual models prompts the use of tools. They foster model integrity, support model based analysis and, last but not least, they facilitate generation of implementation level documents from conceptual models. On the one hand, our research is aimed at requirements for (special purpose) modelling tools, and so we support the evaluation of tools. Within the EvaLUM project, we conducted a study to compare seven UML modelling tools. On the other hand, we develop tools for our own modelling languages.
